TEACHER TRAINING SESSIONS 2023:

SUNDAY JANUARY 22 at 9AM (ICA - MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM)

SUNDAY MAY 14 at 9AM (ICA - MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM)

SUNDAY AUGUST 20 at 9AM (ICA - MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM)

As a language center, our goals are:

  • Connect students to the center, other students, and teachers

  • Help students to grow in their English skills 

  • Equip students to succeed in life using their English skills

Teaching Requirements

All Teachers

  • Submit the online application 

  • Complete all trainings 

  • Attend their local church on a regular basis

Assistant Teachers

  • Must be 16+ for adult classes and 13+ for kid classes (parental permission required for volunteers 17 and under) 

  • Attend at least 10 of 12 classes per course (unless family or health emergencies occur)

  • Arrive 15 minutes before class time to help the Lead Teacher

Lead Teachers

  • Must be 18+ 

  • Commit to teaching all 12 classes of the course (unless family or health emergencies occur)

  • Have a personal relationship with Jesus
